Have you ever wondered why the Bible is so long?

Well, if you are new here, my name is Ryan Rench, the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Temecula, California, and this is one of a 20-part video series that we did for an extension ministry of a Bible college.

Well, I am really excited about today’s lesson because in this video I go through a real-life example of how to study a passage.

Flagging words in the Bible means that you are really paying attention to them while you are going through Bible study.

In today’s video lesson, we talk about my son Abe, Abraham, when he was a baby and taking his first steps.

Just be normal, meaning the words we use have normal meanings to them, and we use the literal meanings, but also the figurative meanings, and you figure out which it is by the context.
